Hi
I noticed two mites on one of my chondros yesterday. Can anyone recommend a suitable treatment for chondros? Is it one product for the animal and one for the enclosure, or it their a multi-purpose mite treatment? I'm up to 13 chondros now so I want to nip this in the bud before things worsen.
thanks

Provent a mite if you follow instructions carefully.
Try glenn chandler of jungle phase
http://freespace.virgin.net/jungle.phase/
Basicaly spray on to substrate, newspaper or whatever you use(away from snakes different room or in a garge shed etc.) Leave overnight to go off then put substrate in vivs.
I spray newspaper and keep in a contico and use it as needed.
Usually when I get anew animal as a precaution.
I have not used wwith chondros so have a read on net first.
with this you dont need to handle snakes or clean vivs out, realy top stuff if used properly, but deadly to snakes animals if not used properly
