Yep that's me.
Gotta get those roaches in the fridge so I can get that picture.
The mice are doing great, can't tell how big the litters are as multiple females produced at once. Far superior to the mice I already have.
I also have a pair of multimammates that are promising to be very good. First litter was 11 and barely weaned and the female looks like a football already!
Cheers

The mice are fantastic, i've set up another 2 banks since the Hamm weekend.

Hi Scott,
I'm using a general hamster mix with sow breeder pellets, the pellets are mainly as a back up for when the hamster mix runs out. My rodents are set up at my mothers house, so only get serviced twice a week. What type of dog biscuit are you using?
They seem to be thriving. I don't have sufficient cages to build a large colony, will probably settle for around six large mouse lab cages(Mainly as that's how many I have!!).
Back to roaches.. Paul the Blaptica dubia are great, adults about twice the size of Lobsters and a great range of sizes in the nymphs. They dont give off a great deal of defensive odour like the Blaberus or Prosticus either.
Cheers

As promised here is a comparison photo of my roaches.
Top left Cave roaches(adult and nymph) below that Discoid roach (adult and nymph),then Cuban burrowing roaches (Female, male, nymph). Bottom we have Orange heads( Adult and nymph).
Right hand side top are the Guyanan spotted roaches(male, female and nymph) bottom right Lobster (adult and nymph).
Can't believe they just sat there for the photo
Hope that helps.
regards

you certainly have patience to sit there and wait for all them to line up nicely for a photo _________________

Red Runners
Pro's
Very fast reproductive rate

Can not climb glass
Soft bodied
Con's
males can fly (although rarely do)
extremely fast (can run back out before you get the viv door shut!)
possibly invasive in a domestic environment
Dubia
Pro's
No smell
Med / large size
Hardy & easy to maintain
Can not climb glass
Soft bodied
will die if they escape
Con's
Slow to build up a colony
So take your pick _________________

A friend bought a small tub full back from Holland, not cheap roaches. Will be a long time before any would be available from them though. _________________
