I am so into getting into naturalistic set ups as much as poss including micro climates this I find very exciting but perhaps a bit off topic .

I have the facilities to grow whatever tropical stuff required etc.

You can keep both Phelsuma and dendrobates in very naturalistic vivaria. Some people keep both together in the same viv. In a large and especially TALL viv I think it might work well. The lizards would spend most of the time up high (near the UV) and the frogs would mostly be down in the cooler areas. Both need high humidity. Any hatchling crickets fed to the frogs that evaded capture and grew too big for frog mouths would be likely to get snaffled by the hunting Phelsuma. I`ve always thought that Golden Mantellas and a Phelsuma sp. from the same part of Madagascar as the frogs in a nice well planted tall viv would be an interesting project. Check this Guy out, he keeps frogs and lizards together in very naturalistic set ups
