I have the male giving me hassle mainly now he will only seem to take small live fuzzys

female doing well eats well might need to keep male sep for a permanant measure and see if I can get him going better then try and introduce them again really need to try and find more info on them though dont really have much of an idea when to try and breed them or if they need cooling as yet cant really base there care on the info I have from the guy who lost his and never bred them

Anyway will keep you updated shame yours didnt do so well mine do love there tank must get pictures of it up

Probably a really good idea to keep them seperate until they are established.

I have another article about Chrysopelia, from the same Guy who wrote the article I sent before, which may be of interest. The two of them really gave me an insight into this species, especially regarding incubation temperatures. I will dig it out.... might be easier now Ive unpacked my 'Herp' stuff!!

thanks bud would be helpfull think I will setup the male in his own tank for at least the next few months just had hoped with him feeding well on live fuzzys he would continue to do so with the female but she seems to dominant for him!

doing well male is eating better now female goes from strength to strength so fingers crossed they carry on that way they seem to like the warmer weather had the viv set to a 90 hot spot they seem to like it nearer 95 better

Male found dead today despite putting weight on and never looking like he wasnt feeding Crying or Very sad

Bare in mind this isn't livefood so i'm not trying to set you up for a smart arse comment, just curious. Did you have a faecal exam done, use a broad spectrum "debugger" or just leave it to the gods?

nope animal fed right away didnt lose weight and seemend to be doing fine so didnt feel the need to risk toxic shock by doing any de parasiteing
