Dan,
if using your camcorder, can you actually freeze a frame and use that as a photo or do you have to 'switch' it to camera mode or something? |

It has 2 modes of data storage, a tape and a memory stick. When i set it to save on memory stick it can then be used as a camera. It has all the usual camera functions for doing this. I have never tried to capture an image on tape as my kids decided to play with it in a sand box so the cassette holder is buggered. I'll get it all fixed and cleaned one day. _________________ TFA

I used to have a Fujifilm 2200 that gave quite nice shots, but some thieving scum nicked it out of my mates van. I am currently using an Olympus Camedia C2000Z a friend donated to the cause. Still learning to use it but constantly amazed at the results it gives even if it is 7 yrs old.

nice pics everyone, that cham looks quite pretty.
digitally I use the s7000 too, which I love, and the fuji s3 pro, which I love more:-D hehe. I went for the s3 digital slr because it uses the same lenses and accessories as my film camera(nikon f100) so saved myself some much needed cash:-)
malc, the d2x is £3000 on staff .....go on, you know you want to:-D |
