They don't need a hide as they are burrowing frogs. and will disappear under the coco if stressed.
Any attempt of plantings or foliage will promptly be destroyed by these little tanks.
Lighting is not required, but some use it and it wont hurt as long as the bulb does not get warm enought to dry things out quickly.
I use heat tape or heat mats for a heat source. |

Welcome to the site Ed. Some lovely Ornate frogs you have, the photographs show their colours really well. I used to have an albino a few years back, a species I would consider keeping again. _________________ Cheers Angi

I keep most of mine in 6 quart plastic sterilite shoe boxes in heated rack systems. works out best that way for maintaining large numbers of these frogs.
Heres a fatass in a tub. this is a cranwelli.
