very nice collection you have there
your histrix is a reticulata. if you look at the tail you can see a white stripe on the edge coming from the tailbase and extending along the ridge of the tail. this is always a reticulata. if they haven't got it it mosy likely a orbigney. also a histrix is the highest back potamotrygon of all and yours isn't high enough to be one.
i think your rudi is fantastic
i have to get my viv sorted and talk to you know who and get one. hopefully i can afford it
expect mail about the cuttlefish info you send me
by the time you read this you probably had it if not.. i do it later.
here is some of my stuff
my 80x30x24
had to rescue the female from the oversexd male thats the reason for the divider
my snakeheads tank
spare tanks and stuff. this houses the filter for the snakehead tank now
asin aro tank. the viv sits below it now. thats the tank i raised by 3 inch using a trolley jack

Hi, thanks for letting me see all the fantastic rays etc, very nice!
Interesting about the hystrix(?) it doesn't have the characteristic white stripe and I cant find enough info about some of the related species. It was sold as a hystrix but the pattern is more reticulated than i would have thought a hystrix to be... will try and get more pics in the coming days.
I was having bother with my PC and that's why i couldn't upload pics and initially see yours so i have done a fresh install of XP and its running super fast again
cheers for now

it did look like it had a stripe on the picture but that may be deceiving.
it is defenetly not a histrix as they have a very high back
you can't mistake the high back of a histrix as it really sticks out |
