I have noticed a general 'shift' in the hobby, the reptile hobby i mean, over the last 3-4 years too.
I think if profit is the sole reason you are keeping a certain species, you are on a hiding to disappointment from the get go!! I too have seen people build up impressive collections only for them to sell them off when the latest craze hits the hobby. Then once the focus changes, so too does their collection.
I for one am new to the Poison Frog side of the hobby. I have absolutely no illusion that i am going to make any money from them, i am happy just to enjoy them for their beauty. If i am able to sell a few babies along the way to buy some more Poison Frogs then all the better. _________________ Fraser Gilchrist
