Yep I have one of those black light ultraviolet thingies. Great fun good for dodgy notes to!

If the environment is keep moist, they dessiccate easily, then there is no reason why they shouldn't survive, the mother will feed them until they get off her back.

Another one has appeared on her back now.

Took some crappy pics with the blacklight last night.

Could well be wait n see. Very interesting creatures and easy to house and look after. I checked my males last night they have the white stripe to so its not a gravid thing.


Most of the imperials are black with a bit of blue but mine are solid blue all over with the white stripes anyone got any ideas on this, maybe a regional variation?

The white stripes is the amount of food in em Rick Laughing
Shows yours are well fed, its either a nice fat emp or a gravid female that has the thick white stripes.

There will be more in there just hiding probably Cool
