Hi Angi,
I use the 20 hour heat packs, my biggest worry is always OVER HEATING, most people worry too much about the cold. It really is the heat that kills more than the cold.
My Fiji iguanas arrived at the airport in January, were left in a clearing warehouse for a few hours. When I opened the box, they were chilled to the touch, not moving at all! These are IGUANAS I thought, yet the guy sent no heat packs with them, I took them home thinking they were dead or dying but by the time I got home all of them had awoken from there little 'ice' sleep and were 100% fine by the following day, that was almost a year ago and I never did have anymore problems. This really opened my eyes to things. I must admit I would be worried about the cold with certain boids but the animals I tend to work with are as tough as old boots...lol _________________
