well i keep 6 together and most small monitors seem to do very well in groups. they have a an exalt feeding repose if i toss 40 locus in they are him in about 10 Min's. they are not shy witch is good all ways out and about. |

What can i say? i'm speachless!!
I've seen numerous pictures of these little things but its not the same as having them in the flesh.
I tryed 7 or 8 years ago to get some of these from the states with no luck, never mind i have some now:

Thanks, they are sneaky little things too i am having small interactions with them they are not shy one is braver than the others.
At the moment they are simply in a two and a half foot aquarium, about an inch of 75% play sand 25% peat substrate and a crude Retes stack made of 3/4 inch pine (two thick) will make another with hard board later.
It is easier to track them whilst they are so small and settling in.
I will be making a 7ft x 4.5 x 4.5 corner viv for them very shortly, along the lines of some ive seen on the forum with polystyrene, cement powder etc soon as i've finished our spare room (current project )
