yep heat mats do the job, as for lighting nope not needed. It's a case of identifying what's actually required for something to thrive and with locust it's simple HEAT, FOOD and LOW humidity, you get them right and you're away
Sizes and placement of the mats all depends on your set up and ambient room heat etc just remember the basics...high temp basking spot and good hot ambient temps. Acheive them and it doesn't matter where the mats are. _________________
