The Northern Echo have a follow up story on page 21 Sept 20th - doesn't seem to be on there site. Says that the shop and two homes were raided and sadly some animals and birds were found dead. About 150 animals have been seized under animals wlefare legislation.

Really sickens me- I'm so angry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read the link, basically it seems like she bought back possoms from Europe and was unaware that they were restricted.

I know of other people who have had possoms confiscated but I guess due to them not being animal traders they didn't have their addresses raided.

Looks like they raided her due to her 'slip up' at customs, NOT because of any reports of neglect or cruelty.

actually just re-read the article, that possom incident was a previous occasion, so I have no idea why she was raided.

I am very suprised as I believed her to be a very caring keeper.
