The search to identify my Tinctorius may be over.

It may well be the one below; first pic is the one off the web: the other pics are of my Tinc. Comparring the two frogs even the markings appear almost identical.

Name:D. tinctorius.
'blue Sipaliwini'.
Country: Surinam/Guiana.
Locality & info: There are two locality's beside the river. One locality is in Surinam and the other is in Guiana. There are imported species from both locality's, so it's difficult to say where 'your' frog is from. It seems that there will be mixed (blue and green) offspring out of blue parents and also mixed offspring out of green parents.

A few pics of my Tinc had to use flash so the pale blue on the body appears white rather than the pale blue that it actually is.

Cheers Dan, males call out females don't, with darts the shape of the feat in adults give it away also, if you look at pic mine has heart shaped toes. The toepads on the front feet of the mature male are twice as big as those on the back feet. In females, the toepads are much more even in size.

Best sign is when you hear the males calling though.

thanks Dan.

I am also after female Dendrobates leucomelas , Bumble Bee dartfrogs.

No worries mate, thanks for trying anyway. All my male darts (which is all of them Laughing ) have been calling for ages now so when they do get some female company I am sure they will be ready to perform.
