"A specially formulated misting spray with therapeutic and plant extract to properly condition the skin of reptiles and amphibians which normally inhabit lush tropical enviroments. Regular misting with Bio-Mist helps maintain a high humidity in the terrarium enviroment to duplicate the natural living conditions for Green Iguanas, Chameleons, Frogs and other tropical reptiles. Moisturizing and lubricating the skin brightens colors and aids the critical process of shedding old skin in snakes and lizards.
Bio-Mist contains electrolytes which help promote rapid recovery from dehydration caused by extended transport stress and other ailments."

This is taken from livefood.co.uk and I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions or experiences with this product

Well I`m wondering too now! Smile

If anyone has some, could they post up the ingredients which must be displayed on the container please?

Cheers

Water conditioner does a similar thing, according to the label on the zoomed water conditioner I have except for the electrolytes thing. They don;t use such things in the wild, my guess is it's yet another way to make money.

Only a view but correct diet and humidity levels etc should suffice.

My view entirely Rick but would like to know what they put in it out of interest. Sounds like oil of Ulay for frogs!

I`m chuffed as you know any way as I have PH 7 coming out of the tap here. Frog water on tap. Hehehehe Very Happy

Not personally but my buddy who used to run a "Gardening centre" and has loads of kit did for me and its low. I just let it stand in a wide surfaced container for 24 hours to de-chlorinate and I`m away.

Back on topic, Pollywog knows his frogs and I don`t think it`s probably worth bothering with either but I want to know what`s in it. Confused

Frog moisturiser aye, imagine; "Makes your skin as smooth as a tadpole`s bottom or your money back." Shocked Laughing

Yes out of curiosity would be nice to know whats in it. Shame when they make water conditioner they don't add the other stuff to! It's all a money spinner!

I used to have testing kits when I kept tropical fish.

The only thing that would worry me is adding too many diff things into the equation they absorb it via the skin as you know.

Perhaps a beauty range of products for frogs!
