I have a number of springtails in my tadpole tubs (think they got in there on the peat chips i put in for cover)
This morning, i saw a mantella aurantiaca tadpole feeding on one! Has anyone else seen this in tadpole feeding behaviour?
Apologies for the poor quality pictures, but It was through plastic...

Thanks
Springatils are tiny arthropods which are used as feeders for many dartfrogs _________________ Interested in amphibians? Join us at Myamphibia for friendly banter, amazing pictures and great information. Make some amphibious friends today! |
