This wee fella popped out of his egg this morning... the second to hatch for me! The first one hatched in the main viv with the adults without me knowing, however this one was incubated by me.

Hes still soggy, and is tiny! (oh, and is an Anolis carolinensis or Green Anole)

Can I house this one with the older baby, or will they fight/try to eat each other? there is not THAT much time difference

I tried to hatch some of these a while back without success, what techniques did you use?

Thanks guys!

The first one was a surprise, I never found the egg. Second one I put the egg in a large yoghurt pot (yeo valley-pint glass sized with a fitting lid which I had perforated for ventilation) on top of peat which was on top of leca. I juts made sure the peat was moist by spraying daily, and kept the container in the adult viv. The adults have a heatmat covering a third of the floorspace and this comes on in the day... it seems that just this heat was sufficient to hatch the egg.

how much time difference is between the 2babies? tbh it should be fine. I house mine together and some are new borns like yours, and others are 3-4weeks old. as long as there is enough space for them to live together comfortably it should be fine, plus they're tiny, so not much space needed lol!! Very Happy hope this helps, and congrats!!! jus wait, soon you'll have loads of the little guys popping up!! Very Happy
