just seen a post on the classifieds attached to this forum warning against contacting the above!!

I know the obvious would be to contact the individual who posted but if he/she has had a bad experience they are not necessarily going to give a fair portrayal!!

I have recently contacted the above, he was supposed to pick up a FREE viv and did not show. Confused

I have not heard from him since!

Well I decided to email the host of the warning. this is a rough/basic account of what he said

He says this person/buyer asks for the animals (retics & leos) to be sent in advance before any payments are made!!!

when the seller refused to do so, the buyer/scammer started to threaten the seller Confused

obviously I have had only one side to this argument but would be interested in hearing if anyone else has had any dealings with

my emails with this person were friendly and he was polite, i offered him a tangerine honduran that i was selling, he didn't want it Shocked

(are they really that unpopular?!)

I did however offer him a free viv, like i said, so he did get my address out of me but he didn't show up and i haven't heard from him since!?

they are a rescue that beg people to give up their animals and then they turn around and sell them.

i remember them saying "we will take in any animal, especially albinos".

he sells a few rescue animals a week.

must be nice.

He already had bought leos hadnt he? and the seller said he was polite and genuine etc
this thread did come up in convo as evidence against him..but the deal was done and everyone was paid and happy...I believe.

i for one could care less.

the whole point was saying that frequently he takes in things as rescues and then sells them.
