Another landmark day for me in the owning of a chameleom...

This morning I put some crickets into the viv. I saw him catch one and eat it. This is the first time I have actually seen him eat. Comforting to know he is eating and catching well. He made me smile today.

Another, another landmark day.

I have been out all day today and came home to him having shed. His first at mine.
His colours seem so much more vibrant now even if they are mainly grey and a bit greeny.

I managed to weigh him also today, whilst I was cleaning out his home.
He weighs a wee 8g.

I changed the enclosure a little. He now has some different size wood to climb over. Not sure if I like it as much so I might just adjust things a little.

The wire frame seemed a little small so I wanted to give him some better sizes to grip to.

As I knew nothing about them I just settled on what Lee had available.

If I buy again (who am I kidding, I want a fresh one everytime I go into Lee's shop) then I might choose more carefully but I have trouble choosing anything really.

I was going to get a yemen at first but only because that's what the local pet shops had.

When I found out about Lee then I didn't really care which locale it was as long as it was from him. He seems to know what he is talking about. A lot better than just a pet shop.

I think I am going to change it again today.
There seems too many places for the crickets to hide.
