Just put enough water in your bath, depending on size of snake, make sure it's not freezing but not warm either. I know some people put an island in aswell, egg box or even large folded towel.

Good exercise for them!!

VERY good way of exercising snakes that could do with a bit more mobility in their lives. I inherited two overweight pythons a few weeks back and they are having a few sessions in the bath as a bit of therapy to get them fit and toned again. No food yet either!

Mark, you and I had quite a chat on this subject the other night on another thread if I remember .

I've a very obease corn who is on a strict diet and exercise regime, bathing is a big part of her exercise, she's also got a climbing frame to use when she's out.

I have a 8 month royal python, I have tried bathing her in tepid water in the bath as but I don't think she likes it as she will stay perfectly still almost looks like she freezes if you know what I mean, then she starts trying to get out the bath. She looks like she is panicking at this point I lift her out, hold her and calm her. I have tried this about 3 three times now once a week in the hope she would get used to it as I was told snakes love to swim. She I be more persistent or is it I have a snake that just doesn't like to swim.
