Hello everyone! i found your website last night and stayed up wayyyy too late reading the posts but mostly looking at all the pics!!
I've wanted a snake since i was six, but got the usual 'yeah! right!' from the parents, however, I'm wayyyy too old (27! ) to be told that and Ive fallen in love with leopard geckos and bearded dragons! so all that brought me here for looking for tips on how to look after one. I'm not planning on getting one till at least may since I'm moving to Glasgow at the end of march and i wouldn't know what I'm doing anyway!
my biggest question really is which of the two, leopards or beardies is best for a total beginner??? and also what books would you guys recommend for general care of them and any good reptile places in/near Edinburgh or Glasgow?? or even Aberdeen since my folks live up there and i go there quite alot!!
sorry bought that mammoth read!!!!
cheers, ses x. _________________ ses x x |

hi and welcome to the forum. i would think beardies would be the easiest to start with, but dont quote me on that. there are loads of places around glasgow for buying reps. cumbernauld would be nearest i think, but i dont know whats in glasgow itself. _________________

welcome to the forum ses i wold recomend leo's as a good starter reptile, they are super simplistic to keep.beardies are also a good choice but eat a lot more food and need slightly more equiptment to setup with both are great though _________________ www.jamieswordsreptiles.com |
