Can i suggest that you find someone else to take the royal on. For the last week or so you have been asking basic questions about keeping them. This to me says you are not yet ready to buy one let alone rescue one.
You may think you are doing the right thing but in the long run this could be a huge mistake for the snake in question.

No offence cossie but dans right.

If you have a mistreated non-feeding royal your going to have a fight on your hands.

You should be aware you may have to start its feeding off witha force feed. I dont recommened this, but if it doesn't eat due to its present conditions, this may be the only way of sparking its feeding response.

edit: also this isn't a question of your ability to look after an animal, and not mistreat it. But 'rescuing' any snake, is a big task which requires more then the 'basic' knowledge.

Is the snake still feeding? If not, when was the last time it fed?

If it still feeds fine then you shouldn't have any problems if the snake has no health issues (other than a bored owner!).

Just remember, to get the viv set up correctly in advance, leave the snake totally alone until it has feed a few times (just give the snake a thorough check when you first collect it).
