i personally keep away from it due to the amount of dust in it.
i suppose the dust could be washed out but i tend to stick with something that doesnt require that extra step.
depending on what you are keeping there is a wide array of alternatives. _________________ cardboard city. |

I've stopped using any organic substrates with my snakes after my vet's advice. We have had a few husbandry problems with our snakes this year following the use of orchid bark and bark chips, so they are now all on newspaper and none the worse!
I don't think you can trust the stuff from B&Q-it is possibly treated with chemicals.
To each their own, however! _________________
