I have a retic at my place that belongs to a friend for now as we are hoping to get a bit of a breeding thing going. I thought i'd put the pics up here in a thread so i didnt have to send him link after link of photo's again.

Up until now he has only been fed on rats as there was no need to rush his growth at all. I had him in with the female last night and apart from the nail biting about her reception towards him i noted he is just too small for the HUGE "task" at hand. As a result i have bumped him up a food size to get the lb's on him over the next couple of months before the end of the "season". Time will tell if he can do it but for now he is happy with a full belly:

The below pics show just how big his "task" is in comparison:

Bless his little cotton socks!!!

These last two are just some i took to play with later on. I like the shine, scale and eye close ups for playing about (if anyone else wants to play with them feel free):

Sorry about the size of the post, it's a mammoth Shocked

Thanks all.
Chez looks can be deceptive - he is just over 6 feet in length.

Stu, i have heard of it but due to a technical f**k up i can't resize anything right now - long story but i have no wordpad/notepad type programs either.
Not mildew - combination of coconut husk, a silicone smear and missing plastic, the viv is old and looks crappy but its safe and does the job it needs to Cool

Stu, i am saying sod all on that comment - some things just aint worth the risk Very Happy

Royal Crazy, there will be LOADS of retics about next year. I think mine will be around the first of those to hatch but i know of another 4 clutches either cooking now or on the way. Then there are the dwarf clutches, no idea on those but there are usually a few about. Then there are the random breeders that just appear from no where. So you are looking at around 250 retics minimum i'd say for the next year.
