Darren i dont know what to say to be honest, do you think he/she will be able to pass it. I think if it was mine i would try and find a vet quick smart. Hope you get it sorted soon, maybe somebody else will be able to help you or give advice. _________________

Try having another look, she may have regurged it a little, have your teezers handy just incase, and it would be better if sombody else held her for you. _________________

There's a good chance it will be able to pass it through naturally but it's certainly worth speaking to a vet on Monday and seeing what they say. _________________

You could try... http://www.boa-uk.com/boa_grabit.html
Sorry just jesting,in all honesty if it managed to eat it easily there is a good chance it will pass it ok as Scott said. I would certainly ring the vet as soon as you can though. Fingers crossed for you.Keep a close eye on him as well. _________________

Darren
There is a vet in Morpeth who deals with exotics, you will have to look it up in the yellow pages or google it as i don't remember the details.
A small amount of vegatable oil in a syringe may help it pass.
Best of luck. |

I just wanted to add DON'T try and make her sick, or anything sick in a case like that, it would probably cause more harm than good trying to bring it back up it could rip her open inside and you'll lose her from internal bleeding rather than through eating a foreign object, I would just take her to the vets asap. I certainly wouldn't leave it a few days or anything.
Not worth the risk imo. |
