Well as a few of you might know I went for a drive to visit a friend in Germany. You may also know that the 'autobahns' have NO speed limits but even I was suprised to get cars coming up behind me and flash me out the way....(I was driving at 150 mph!).

Well of course I let them past....as over 150 it got a bit scarey Embarassed

Incidently, Belgium had the worst roads and Holland had the slowest drivers.

Where in germany did you go.
I have just booked a flight to frankfurt on 16-11 because i did not fancy the drive.
I am interested how long it took.

lol....frankfurt!

From Calais it took from about 3.30 in the morning until 11 am, including a 2 - 3 hour sleep in Belgium. Was a total of 980 miles (there & back!) 800 out of the UK.

Also used FOUR tanks of petrol....lol...so flying would be far cheaper! Wink
