can i add some sphagnum moss to my long tails substrate im realy struggling to keep humidity up

I don't know the requirements for long tails (?), assumming they need humid conditions then sphagnum moss is an excellent medium to use. I use it for all my moist hides etc.

thanks for the help peeps, anymore advice on keeping humidity up it going down to 45-50 realy soon after misting i have 3quarters of the tank covered with a gap at each end for ventilation help would be apreciated

I use it in my hides works a treat. Homebase sell large ish bags of it for hanging baskets for 1.99 superb moss it is to just right for hides! Not the dried up stuff (they sell that also) but the lush moist green stuff.
