hi people ive just registered with this site but ive been reading the posts for months.
i just wondered how many people here have actualy been scammed by "sellers"? its just i want to start looking on classifieds for leopard geckos but i dont wana get ripped off.

Normally if it sounds to good to be true then it is!.. Most scammers are based overseas also. Just don't send any money out if you are dubious.Welcome to the forum too.Why not post a bit about yourself in the "say hello " section..

If your looking for anything that is unusual,then the leo people are quite close,meaning they know or know of each other.
If you find what you want,just ask and a recommendation will hopefuly follow. |

Not many to choose from tbh..If I use anyone its usually Ameyzoo.

cheers the leo people? is that people that post in the gecko forum ? il have an ask round cos ive been looking for ages and the pet shops around here arent very good on morphs

kl wheres ameyzoo based? or is it a website ? pet shops in my area of herts (hoddesdon) either dont have the morphs or they have them and put them up 2 stupid prices for geckos in not great condition (i dont mind paying good money for a good gecko though)

Yep, as Taben say's recommendation is the way to go everytime.
I know of people who have lost money (big money!) due to scammers, as Stuart say's if it's too good to be true then 99% chance it's a scam!
