Hello Ive just rescued a breeding pair of pubulan milks (sp?) from an old gent who just couldnt look after them anymore. I am normally a lizard guy and have only minimal experiance with snakes but have sorted everything to the letter of every care sheet I can find but have one unanswered question (for now!) do i keep them togther or seperate them? I already have a viv set up in case. I must admit they are truely beautiflu snakes Ive become quite taken with them! Thanks for any help. |

They can be kept together BUT there is always a chance of problems. Naturally these snake eat other snakes so there is potential that they may try to eat each other, especially when you have just fed them rodents and they are in 'hunt' mode.
I would recommend you keep them seperate. _________________

Thanks for the quick reply, they have now been separated and seem a lot happier- they are out and about a lot more. I was also wondering how much they should be handled, after the move and everything
I would imagine they are quite stressed? Thanks again. |
