hi peps iam looking for things which i can put in to me new tank for my bosc and i would like to now what i can put in it to help make it better for her and if possible some pics of Viv's cos me like to make new one for her so ideas be nice thank all Twisted Evil

I would put a big waterbowl, 1 that she can submerge herself in fully, a few sturdy thick logs, this helps with exercise, climbing, keeps them occupied and keeps nails from being razorsharp, (good for you when handling)

I would also make the basking spot out of a rock, with possibly a hide underneath, this will maximise your viv space and the rock will hold heat after 'lights out' this copies there natural environment . . . which is great!

Create the substrate with a 70% moss peat 20% play sand and 10% spaghnum moss, this will keep humidity around 60% if sprayed every 2-3 days and is great fold holding and burrow, make the substrate depth a minimum of 12"

Not really much you can put in a varanus Viv to make it look pretty without them trashing it!
