herptec temp problem

just wondering if someone can tell me how to heat my herptec cage it the
6ft/3ft/20inch the largest one" problem is iv got 2" 150wott ceramics in dishes blocked most vents off but air temp is only 80f and low 70s in cool end! probe from stat is in centre will i need other heating for air temps

i use a single 250 watt in my 5ft herptek's.
this gets the hot end up to 90's and the cool end low 70's.
when i first bought them petef suggested 2 x 250 w
maybe this will help.

thanks molurus the hot spot in my tank is 90s its the air temp that i need a little higher only 80f and like yours low 70s im thinking with the
low air temp snake might get RI " thinking of 2 mats on back wall of cage

You might be better off with an AHS wall mounted heater
They are more suited to large vivs.

thanks hogboy" looked at those" whot if snake rests against the ahs heater bet that metle suround gets hot" also do not really wont to srew or drill holes in cage incase selling later"
