|
|
Well, this little lot (54), my first baby yemen clutch, will be hatching soon (I hope!!)
Have been doing a lot of reading on their requirements, all makes sense bar one thing – what is the most appropriate housing to give them a good start….Exo Terra Glass Terrarium, Flexarium Mesh or Faunarium Plastic?
Considering that housing will be kept indoors (room temp 20C) on either laminate or carpet flooring, I don’t want too many fruit flies/pin head cricks in my breakfast, and space is a tad limited….(although could do with one spare Exo Terra when my Crested Gecko eggs hatch)…. what’s the best option in your opinion
Decisions, decisions…. I think I need a lie down _________________ Connie |

Just keep a couple half full cans of coke next to the viv Connie 99% of escaped fruit fly will go drown their sorrows in them _________________ Paul

Is that their pocket money?
They will need to earn a lot more before they can go shopping for a new home.
Bit concerned really as to just how these eggs are earning any money at their age?
Don't forget to get some pictures as soon as these hatch.
If you have a webcam then point it at them so we can all watch. That would be great to see.
Good luck with them all and I hope they all pop out well. _________________ Joey (From Sunny Clacton-on-Sea)

I'm keeping mine in a flexarium mesh.
Make sure you get more then one though...These buggers grow fast!
How long and at what temp are you're eggs now? _________________ *steps are the only obstacle on the ladder to succes...*

Yes, was thinking Flexariums are probably best. Would 3x 38gallon with approx. 15 hatchlings in each be ok?
Eggs are @ 150 days on 12th July, temp @ 76-78. Wonder how much longer they going to make me wait!!! _________________ Connie |
