Hello all Smile

I have been in a local pet shop and have fell in love with a little baby bd the only thing is is its a pet shop, plus the poor little thing hasn't got a tail it looks as if it was docked at birth and i cant decide if it is putting me off so what do i do ??

My brother has asked me to wait a little anyway to see what sex his baby's turn out to be, we no for certain that one is male but just waiting on the smaller one to see if it gives us a surprise lol

So what do you think i should do when the time comes ?? really don't know what to do.

Oh forgot to ask ,i have bought some self adhesive vinyl floor tiles does anyone use these? or are they a no no.

I bought them because i have no one i know that could put ceramic tiles in for me and just thought with these i will be able to cut them to size, but will they be to slippy for him/her??

Ok well the one in the shop could still make an excellent fun beardie to own. you would really need to give him/her a full health check and make sure the tail has healed completely with no signs of infection or you could end up with a vets bill on top. Have you asked what happened to the tail? unfortunately when kept in big batches some less dominant ones will be picked on and for a better word, mutilised by the others. A bearded dragon can easily be a 10 year commitment with many last longer and you have to decide what is best for you. Dont rush into anything or be pushed into anything.

Ive never used those tiles you ask about, I wouldnt like to say either way altough as long as the adhesive is not toxic I dont see why they cant be used.

Hope that helps

Hiya Angelsue, thanks for the update. Of course you do realise that you cannot get away with posting a reply like this without some photos? I am sure we would all love to see him/her. Glad things are going well.

regards, Paul.
