Heya all,
I just thought I would post a pic of our second baby lizard born this year - a baby chuckwalla, who will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! I saw him actually eat for the first time today so I am chuffed to bits!

We're still incubating one more egg, but Im starting to think its a lost cause. A real shame.

Its a chuckwalla Smile

Chuckwallas are always meant to look round - as a matter of fact, their latin name used to be Sauromalus obesus! They can squeeze into gaps between rocks and puff themselves up so that they are wedged in and cant be pulled out by enemies. Very neat!
