Hello everyone,

i have been fascinated with the rhino ratsnake (rhynchophis boulengeri) for a while now, and i originally thought they would be something that i would not own until i was alot older, but i have come to realise that they are not as unaccessible as if first thought. however i am finding it very hard to find any information on the captive husbandry of this species.

Does anyone on here keep this species and can give me some information on their care and temperament?

And are they quite easy to care for?

Also does anyone on here know of any breeders or suppliers of this species. I know that Crystal palace have some, but does anyone know of any others?

There is a article in Reptiles magazine vol 11 no 11 November 2003 you should be able to get a back issue from Jerry Cole at reptilekeeping.com.
I am looking at getting a pair aswell am going to Hamm in september and hopefully get some.
