thanks lyne she is so tame all ready and is settling in great i have named her jess ( rabbit) hopefully i will be getting some more fish soon when my other 2 tanks are ready

(emma) she is adorable i have always wanted a loop eared since my sis got one a few years ago but mum said no but im so chuffed im allowed i love her to pieces all ready, you should get another one Very Happy

(stuart) i had never seen one before and was glad its freshwater as im not brave enough to do the salt/marine Smile

(james) yer there common name is Bronze Puffer or golden puffer
Water Temp: etc 23 - 26C /74 - 80F the pH:6.0 - 7.8
the biggest they grow is 4 inches (10.6cm) they live at least 10 years
the smallest tank they can be kept in is 20 US gallons (75 liters)
there diet is Live and frozen foods snails, freeze dried krill, frozen shrimp prawn muscle etc and they need snails to keep there beaks trimmed
they have not been known to breed in captivity (didn't realise that Sad )
hope this helped as most puffers they should be kept separate from other fish but he has not troubled mine yet he/she seems really laid back Smile

I love the bronze puffer. I have a 4ft tank with 13 dwarf puffs in and they are great to watch, they love all the space in there! I want to get another 4ft tank to put some figure of 8 puffers in that too. I think puffers are my favourite fish by far and away, they have so so much personality
