We had some ackies that were 9yrs old when we sold them, they are still alive today to my knowledge, so there 13 now, even better they're still breeding like mad.

cheers Chris

I understand that Frank Retes has owned one for 15 years and he acquired it as an adult!

Very Happy

anyone care to share how long there females were breeding for ? ive heard that with many of the dwarf monitors they have a breeding window of about 6 years after that all eggs laid tend to be duds? wondering where that came from and if there is any truth to it?

Again Frank Retes has said on another site that some of his females have been producing 100% clutches for 10 years.

Whether theres any truth to this though....
