|
|
In the nearer future than i expected, i shall be picking up 2 royals from Scott and another two from another breeder. They will be around 200-500 grams and i wanted to build a rack for them.
What do you think would be a good size tub (litres)?
Thanks,

I would use 9ltr RUB's for royals of this size. I know some people use the 4ltr ones, i think these are fine and they use them no problem but i prefer the height of the 9ltr ones, you can get them from staples or from the really useful site. I have used these with great results, i then move them up to 18ltr then 50ltr as they grow bigger, i use 6" wide heat strips to heat them. |

I think that 9 ltr is way too small...
Small royals would I keep in 15 ltr. ( hammarplast )
Larger royals would I move to 31-35 ltr. ( hammarplast )

What are the cm. for your 9l. tubs and 18 l. tubs ??
Sounds to small in my ears.

I was thinking of making a rack with two layers of 9L's across the top. Two layers of 18L's and then a bottom layer of 50L's.
Just got to get planning now!
Thanks for your answers! |
