i work in aquatic retail and have a pond that i would like to give over to a turtle pond and offer a long term home for turtles needing somewhere to live. The pond is under cover and around 1000 gallons, there is no heating in this area and although cold in winter there is no ice/frost. What would i need to do to healthily keep sliders in this pool? would i need to add any kind of heating or basking for this to be succesful

doe's the pond get any natural sunlight at all, you won't need heating but if theres no natural sunlight you will need a basking spot or two with uv.
