Hi everyone, just thought that i would post up a kind of "joining"post....

Well i have just taken ownership of a South African Bull Snake. She is 15yrs old and is 6feet long. She is a kind of brown and white. I have some VERY good pics of her and will post them up as soon as my wife finds the docking station for the digital camera. She has placed it in a "safe place" apparently!!! We got her from my step-mum who has her since birth. She is in a 4 1/2 foot tank. My wife is very wairy of her at the moment and so am i a little but she is a litte (well not so little Razz) beauty. As soon as the docking station is found i will post up a whole load of pics for everyone. I do have one question for you all. Does anyone know a good website for a news tank for her as the tank is kind of dingy and we want a nice new one for her. Thanks

Barrie

Hi, welcome to the forum am looking forward to the pictures to see what snake it is. Common names can be misleading Laughing Is there no pet shop or even better a reptile specialist shop near you where you can buy a new viv from? Failing that there are a couple of websites I think some other users have used, all with good reports have a look in the Member's Web Sites section. Enjoy your stay Smile

hi, welcome.

There's an online shop advert at the bottom of this page 'EuroRep', if not there are plenty of others.
Good luck.

Well Suzie (not named by us :p) is now on the sofa climbing over my wife!! She is really nervous at the moment, my wife that is, lol!! I do have another question as well, your gonna get bored of my questions lol. Its about striking and biting. Me and my wife, Lyndsey, are a bit wairy that she is going to strike and bite us. We have been told by my stepmum that she is not a very angry snake and herself has never been bitten by suzie. Her exhusband has as he used to aggravate the snake apparently. Anyways is it true they will only strike/bite when they are coiled back???
