She's a three and a half foot chunky creamsicle female - and she's nodded off.

She's wound herself through the neck of my shirt, out of my sleeve, and is resting her head on my shoulder. She seems happy enough. Oops, I think the double "p" disturbed her... No, no she's settled down again.

It's mesmerising just watching her breathe.

Anyway, what I wanted to ask - has anyone got any ideas for a name for her? All of my creatures have odd names - but nothing's leapt at me for this little lady yet.

I'm thinking "Eden" - but I'm not sure.
Anyone?

Nah, she's too pretty to be an Edna - but I may have to call on of my hermits it, if it turns out to be female!

Hmm, ice cream is kinda funky, and she has got a frosty blue shine on her... I shall consider that, and ask her later. She's too busy exploring in my shirt right now.

Hmmm - "Mivvie"...

I shall have to ask her when she wakes up later.
I'll wait until she's shed before I finalise on a name (which leaves about 3-4 days for ideas).

We used to call the strawberry sauce you put on ice-cream "Blurt" I quite like that for a name. But then again it is a corn snake so I personally would be more inclined to call it "snack" or "appetizer" Twisted Evil
(before anyone gets upset, no I have not fed any corns to my snakes, but I am tempted every time I find one loose in the countryside)

*laughing* "Blurt" most definitely doesn't suit her.

She's finally shed, and appears to have eaten the skin, (much to my annoyance - I wanted the first one) and has happily yomped down a fuzzie with good grace and elegance.

I'm very pleased with her - I warmed yon fuzzer up, popped it onto a small plastic saucer by tipping it out (so I didn't touch it) and popped the plate into her box. Shook her gently out of her tube, pointed her in the right direction.

She went "Eh?" and then "Oooh", licked it, and BANG, she'd sunk her jaws into the scruff of it's neck. I didn't take photos this time, as I wasn't sure how she'd react, but seeing as she was happy with me watching, I may well do next time!

Sounds like a lovely snake Wink Any pics?
Personally I cant wait 'til my Honduran Milksnake gets to that size. It's really cool being able to handle a non-lethal and I'm becoming quite attached to him, I must admit!
